Pool Academy for the Peninsula Primary Schools Cross Country Final
All the children ran superbly, cheered and encouraged one another, representing Treleigh brilliantly.
The top 15 runners in each race earnt a spot at the Cornwall School Games Primary Cross-Country Final in Newquay. A number of our runners came nail-bitingly close, achieving 16th, 17th and other close positions.
But, a special mention goes to: Senara, Leo and Tobin, who all came within the top 15 in their respective races, earning qualification for the Cornwall School Games Primary Cross-Country Final in Newquay.
Another special mention goes to Harper, who unfortunately hurt herself in her race, and was unable to finish. She ran extremely well, and I know she will run brilliantly in future races.
Whether they finished, qualified or even couldn't be there today due to illness (we had a number off from the squad), all our runners have been superb this season, sprinting to the line and finishing with a smile (and a very red face!)
