 School Uniform

What do I need to wear?

We are very proud of our school uniform at Treleigh and believe that it helps the children identify themselves as being part of the Treleigh family.

Children should wear long or short black trousers or a black skirt or pinafore with a white shirt (not polo shirt). They need to wear a branded black jumper, cardigan or fleece.  When the weather is hot, children can also wear a yellow gingham dresses.

Tights or socks should be black or white.

Shoes should be black, flat and with a closed toe and heel.  Footwear above the ankle is not permitted for health and safety reasons.

Our branded uniform can be purchased in school via ParentMail.   You can also buy second hand uniform from Uniformly which is managed and run by our wonderful PTA ‘Friends of Treleigh.’

PE Kits

PE is an important part of the school curriculum and it is important that children change for this.  Children should wear a branded yellow PE t-shirt, plain black elasticated waist shorts, plain black leggings or plain black tracksuit trousers, black plimsolls or trainers. Black and yellow PE hoodie (optional).

Jewellery and hairstyles

No jewellery to be worn except stud earrings. No makeup permitted, no nail varnish, hair should not be dyed, no hair shaved patterns. Hair decorations e.g., bows, bands and scrunchies must be either black, yellow or white and should be small and inconspicuous. Expectations for our school community For health & safety and hygiene reasons we ask that all pupils with shoulder length hair or longer have their hair tied back with black, white or yellow accessories. We can provide spare hair ties in school if needed.
